Thor Revealed as the final Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue character!
Release dates are set! You can download Vengeance and Virtue December 13th on PlayStation Network, and December 14th on Xbox LIVE Arcade!
How about Thor table details! Venturing throughout the Nine Realms, Thor must defend Asgard against his mischievous half-brother Loki and the ferocious power of the Destroyer armor, as well as the evils of the fire demon Surtur, and Ymir, ruler of the Frost Giants. Thor unleashes strikes of brilliant lightning and hurls his powerful hammer Mjolnir on this visually striking table that boasts more animations than any other to date in the critically acclaimed Marvel Pinball series. November’s Full Moon Reveals Moon Knight, Coming to Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue
The power of tonight’s full moon has unveiled the third of four tables for Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue. Influenced by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu himself, Moon Knight is revealed as the second of two “vengeance” tables in the upcoming four-pack, releasing this December on Xbox LIVE® Arcade and PlayStation®Network.
Hidden by the shadows of night, Moon Knight searches for thugs on the streets of New York, bringing vengeance to those who feast on the weak. Set in the beauty of a pending lunar eclipse, Moon Knight has his hands full as he faces off against his greatest enemies, such as Bushman, Midnight, Morpheus and the Black Spectre. Moon Knight draws power and strength from the moon god Khonshu, who constantly prods and antagonizes the hero, and he comes equipped with the Mooncopter and a Moon Crossbow, which was developed specifically for this table.

X-Men Coming to Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue
Great news out of New York ComicCon! X-Men have been revealed as the next table in the upcoming Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue for Xbox LIVE®Arcade and PlayStation®Network. You can watch a table trailer in the media player above this news post.
The X-Men table embodies the classic conflict between Professor Charles Xavier’s band of Super Hero mutants against Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants. Players must deploy the powers of Iceman, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Colossus, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Psylocke and Storm as they take on such classic villains as Mystique, Juggernaut and the Blob, as well as mutant-hunting Sentinels.
The table features missions inspired by actual comic events, such as Magneto’s destruction of the Brooklyn Bridge (NEW X-MEN #147) and a pinball version of the Dark Phoenix Saga that uses actual dialogue from classic issues of THE UNCANNY X-MEN (#135 and #136). There is even a confrontation with the Juggernaut in which Cyclops, Iceman, Colossus and Psylocke exemplify good teamwork as they attempt to stop the unstoppable.
The remaining two Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue tables – one starring a “vengeful” character, the other a “virtuous” one – will soon be revealed.

It’s been pretty busy here at Zen Studios, and we just had to take a break to fill you all in on some pretty exciting developments with the Marvel Pinball series. If you rewind back to San Diego Comic-Con, you may remember we announced a brand new four-table pack,
Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue [san_diego_comiccon_2011_more_marvel_pinball_on_the_way].Ghost Rider, half of the “Vengeance” part of the title, was the first table revealed, and to this point there have only been a handful of screens to explore – but today we are giving you a first look at Johnny Blaze, Lucifer, and Zadkiel in action.
Did you see what we did there??? “A VIRTUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT COMING TO NEW YORK COMIC CON.” Yes, we will be revealing a new table this Saturday @ 1:15 – 2:15 during the Marvel Games panel

On to some PS Vita news…Marvel Pinball is looking really sharp on PS Vita. We cannot say enough about how freaking awesome this new device is and how amazing it is to develop on. Marvel Pinball is making full use of the coolest features including both front- and back-panel touch support, gyro sensor, accelerometer and last but not least, cross-platform functionality with PlayStation Network. As we get closer to the release of Marvel Pinball on PS Vita, we will definitely provide more details on all of these features. Look for Marvel Pinball to be available for PS Vita starting day one!

SNIKT! Wolverine Tournament Sep 30 – Oct 14
Tournament play comes to one of the most intense pinball tables in the Marvel Pinball library. The Wolverine tournament will be live for both Pinball FX2 on XBLA and Marvel Pinball on PSN. To participate in the tournament, simply complete a game on the Wolverine table during the tournament period and your score will automatically post to the tournament leaderboard. Good luck!

Spider-Man Tournament on Pinball FX2!
High Score Tournament Runs July 29 – August 12, 2011
Spider-Man is one of the higher scoring tables in the Marvel Pinball lineup so this is a great chance to get a HUGE SuperScore and Hero Score boost. This is a high score tournament; the top three scores will win a Marvel Digital Comics Subscription, a Spider-Man Bass Skyline tee from MightyFine, and MSP’s!
As always, there will be prizes for random players. To qualify, simply complete a full game on the Spider-Man table during the tournament period, will be open from July 29 – August 12, 2011. Winners will be notified via Gamertag following the conclusion of the tournament, and also posted in the ZEN Studios forums. We make every effort to get in touch with the winners, so please be on the lookout for a message if you want to redeem your prize.
To participate in the tournament, simply complete a game of Spider-Man on Pinball FX2 For Xbox LIVE® Arcade.
ZEN Studios and Marvel Entertainment revealed exciting new announcements regarding the future of Marvel Pinball during the Marvel Video Games panel during San Diego ComicCon.

Captain America coming to Marvel Pinball!
Join the Super-Soldier as he battles Baron Zemo, Red Skull and the Sleeper in the latest Super Hero themed table for Marvel Pinball!
Set in the classic World War II environment inspired by Ed Brubaker’s Captain America 65th Anniversary Special, the table engages Cap, Bucky and members of the Howling Commandos in a full assault on Baron Zemo’s castle, where Zemo’s Death Ray and canisters of Adhesive X must be neutralized. As the game progresses, Cap will need to free his friends in the Howling Commandos and defeat several low-level missions as he works to confront the Sleeper before taking the Cosmic Cube from the Red Skull in the final battle.
Captain America will be available on June 28, 2011 for PlayStation®Network and June 29, 2011 for Xbox LIVE®Arcade.

Marvel Pinball Fantastic Four Now Available on Xbox LIVE® Arcade!
True Believers, it’s a FANTASTIC day! In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Fantastic Four, we proudly release Marvel Pinball Fantastic Four. This is one of the finest pinball tables ever produced, and we are extremely proud of it.
We thank you for your feedback on previous Marvel Pinball tables, and in listening to you, we made a special effort to improve on the overall sound design for the table (and all future tables). We’ve doubled the amount of dialogue lines, so the experience is more interactive and exciting. The level voice-over talent has also improved, and we thank the team at Marvel for their guidance on this.
Fantastic Four is the first of many Marvel Pinball releases to come, so get ready for an exciting year! Feel free to visit us on the ZEN Studios forums, Facebook or Twitter. We always try to answer questions and we love to hear your feedback!

Here’s a quick look at review scores for Marvel Pinball, and we could not be happier with the reception we have received. According to its current 87 ranking on Metacritic.com, the Xbox 360 version of Marvel Pinball is the highest-rated Marvel game released since the site started keeping track of scores. The PS3 version is an 83, like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. We know Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is going to be amazing, so we will have to see where we stand in a few months.

The Amazing Spider-Man, The Invincible Iron Man, Wolverine and Blade are now available in an epic pinball adventure! Marvel Pinball really represents a step up for the pinball genre – the 3D character interaction, the amount of crazy boss battles and modes, along with new scoring systems and social features – and you have what amounts to be an amazing pinball experience.
Even though we at ZEN Studios have been making video pinball games for many years, we never stop thinking of new features to make the game better. Marvel Pinball features two new scoring systems which are designed to improve social connectivity and overall competition. The challenge of beating our own personal scores and checking in on your leader board rankings is fun and all, but we thought it would be even better if you had an idea of your overall ranking in the community. To satisfy the craving, we built the Hero Score system which allows you to track your all time play records and compare to the rest of the community. What about a score that measures how good you and your friends are together? Team Force requires you to band together with friends to rule the Marvel Pinball community. Could this be the beginning of pinball guilds? Disclaimer: Don’t blame us when you start receiving a bunch of random friend requests!
Now for some Blade action! I personally think the Blade table has some of the most stunning visuals you will ever see on a pinball table. Night mode and UV balls are especially necessary as you play to defeat Deacon Frost, Dracula and hordes of vampires. The pesky Hannibal offers some backup support, but it’s really up to Blade to do the dirty work.
Keep your eyes out for tournament announcements as well as new tables – they are coming soon. If you have not already voted, there is still time to head over to www.marvelpinball.com to cast your vote for the next table. You guys are deciding who comes next, so make your voice heard (Ghost Rider is currently running away with the vote).
Pinball is a game that stands the test of time, still living beyond the glory days of the arcade and transcending console generations – we hope our love for the genre shines through in every table we release, and hopefully some of that rubs off on you!
